No you are mistaken none of the rejected or waitlisted applicants had it and it is an indication of acceptance. My twin brother and his friends had this in ED rounds and all got in, where people who didnt have got deferred or rejected. You can read the past forums aswell It is a definite indicator since 4 years mom.
