Do ED admits usually attend Cornell Days? It seems the program is designed for RD people who they are encouraging to commit. My son would like to go and get a feel for the campus when the weather is nice. He would also like to meet people who will potentially be in his class. Thoughts?

You can definitely go and get a feel for the campus/classes/offerings, but I doubt that your son will be able to meet too many new people. First of all, there are more than 6000 admits, and the chance that they will be in the same class is pretty small. Also, at least when I attended, it wasn’t as if the campus was completely packed with new admits. There was a morning info session which contained at most 100 people, and a variety of other activities around campus, and that’s basically about it.

D really enjoyed it 2 years ago and so did her dad and I. She was/is in a small major so perhaps that was part of the attraction.

I’m going! March 31 are sign up dates, right?
And, speaking of that, did anyone here get an e-mail for it?
