<p>I found the application to get some sort of a job within the cornell dining system online and I’m wondering at what time I should email it so that I can work during the academic year. Is now too soon since it’s still summer? Should I wait till right before orientation or some other time?</p>
<p>There’s nothing wrong with sending the email now; you’d certainly even be ahead of most other students applying. Most students just tend to apply for jobs come August/orientation week cause that’s when employers start posting jobs quite a lot.</p>
<p>It shouldn’t be too difficult to get a job in dining unless you want to work in a small place. You can wait if you want, but that’s up to you.</p>
