Cornell e-mail reminding applicant that ED is binding

My daughter received an email from Cornell reminding her that the decision is binding. All ED applicants received this e-mail?

“As Early Decision application review continues at Cornell University, we’d like to remind you of the following Early Decision guidelines:”

Yes. It’s standard. Read nothing else into it.

Yes, I believe everyone who applied receives that email.

Thank you. Other kids at her school also applied ED and didn’t receive the e-mail.

It may have to do with whether or not they’ve received a FA application.

Thank you all for your feedback. This process can be overwhelming.

Son got it (I also got it as a parent whose email is on file). No one else at his school applied ED to Cornell, so he has no gauge if it was sent to everyone. Not reading into it tho, just wish it would have had info on what the ED decision release day is.

My son received one also. I think they probably sent to every ED candidate.

It could be in their spam folders!
