Hard for you all waiting for a set release time. I remember receiving my rejection letter from Cornell by mail and yet found myself feeling surprisingly philosophical about it back then.
Anyone know what the acceptance/rejection/deferral page looks like from last year?
@vigilia I’ll be able to tell you about the rejection page in a few hours :((
What does everyone think about SAT Subject Test scores? Are they extremely important, slightly important or just another number to put to your name? I know the decisions are out soon and it’s a little late to worry about this but I’m just stressing about this. The SAT Subject Test scores weren’t great for me but my SAT was good…I applied to CoE in case that matters. I know some colleges consider numbers more than fit and vice versa
I went through one of the older ed results thread. One of the deferred kids had a 590 math 2 score which is… Rest of his/her stats seem okay I guess
@holdencaufield007 Well what I meant was I think Cornell looks for 700+ and i got between 640 and 680 on mine…I’m not sure if that qualifies to be a Cornellian
@Josterdude I think they look at your percentile too, 85+ should cut it I guess. I got a pretty average math 1 score (should’ve taken math 2) so I’m worried about that…
I checked the status of my application and it said everything was complete. They sent me the link to the decision.
Good luck everyone!
Good, @Theetee Im sure they would’ve reached out to you if there was a problem, and given you a chance to do something like that. Hope it all ends up alright
@sargamprakash dude. I’m literally doing the same thing… year strong and I’ve grown oddly attached to this flowing lump of matter on my head
Cornell 2020 admit last year–message me if you have any questions or need any assurance!
@guitar321 which college
It says Cornell 2020
Under 3 hours…
Guys, which college according to you is the most “fit-based”? Also, what are the usual indicators to colleges that you would be a good “fit”?
PS: Internally preparing myself for a reject but can’t get the whimsical image of an unlikely acceptance out of my head
@vaibhavm99 Definitely the hotel school. They care mainly about fit, as its a very specialized program
@Josterdude thanks but I can read. Which undergraduate school. Hotel, cas, CALS, ilr…
Um…Architecture
Brown ED applicant here. Just wanted to say good luck to all of you great ED applicants on here! You all have worked hard and should be proud of that.
