<p>Hey so I can choose between SUNY Stony Brook and UIUC for my first year. I want to transfer to Cornell next year and I 'm confused about the requirements.</p>

<p>1) How strict are the writing seminar requirements?</p>

<p>2) Stony allows 2 writing courses but none of them meet the 6 essay/ 30 page requirements. UIUC allows 1 writing course and it doesnt meet the 6 essay requirement. Will I still be eligible for transfer? </p>

<p>So in order for Cornell to accept the writing seminar credit, the courses have to assign 6 essays or 30 pages?</p>

<p>Yes but if I don’t meet them or don’t even have 2 writing seminars, will I still be eligible for transfer?</p>
