Cornell extension?

<p>So I got this email saying that cornells extension was being extended to march 1. I’ve kind of always liked cornell, and I’ve been regretting that I didnt apply to any ivies (because of self esteem issues), but after getting an interview for a pretty ranked program just based on my numbers (pretty much all the other kids there had gotten into at least one ivy) I feel like I might be better than I thought I was. This program is my first choice, but I dont know if im going to get in, and I do really regret not applying to ivies.</p>

<p>Two questions:

  1. Do they still take people who apply under this extension thing?
  2. Should I apply?</p>

<p>I applied to Cornell University and just about crapped my pants when I saw the email in my inbox today. It took me a minute or so to realize what it really was.</p>

<p>It’s Cornell College from Iowa, which I don’t believe is affiliated in any significant way with the Cornell University in the Ivy League.</p>

<p>Oh my gosh thank you. Good thing my hopes didnt get up too high.
Though i do wish I applied to ivies :/. ah well i guess UCB kind of counts as a reach?</p>
