I applied as Mechanical Engineering for junior transfer. Still no pin/emails. Any CoE applicants received any decisions yet? If you are still not hearing this week from the CoE, does that mean your chances are lowered to get it? so tedious and confusing!!
@cornell2020bb @cbsnet SMU does lol
Does Cornell have a certain quota of transfer students they accept from a certain college?
Huh. Learn something everyday. I guess that makes one. Anyone else know of another?
This is so stressfullll!!!
@HarlemRenaiss What school in Cornell did you apply to?
@IglooLover I applied to CAS as a history major
@HarlemRenaiss History majors are cool. I haven’t met very many people like that, though I wish I had.
@HarlemRenaiss hey i’m a history major too! don’t see a lot of that lol
Anyone in CAS hasnt recieved their decisions yet?
Any CAS Government major admitted until now?
So today I tried the PIN trick and got this message, which is different from all the ones I received previously…
"An error was generated while trying to access the requested page. Please contact technical support and provide the following information:
Name of the university/institution to which you are applying
The PIN used to login to the decision system
A detailed description of the problem you experienced and the steps you performed in the system to generate the error
Whether or not your browser is set to allow cookies"
Does anyone know what this means???
Also my Transeval updated to include my name and major
@Nanigoose From past threads and on this thread, it seems like you’ve been admitted! I would wait until you get the final decision from them, but it seems very likely. Congratulations!!
@yassgirl wow thank you, I hope you’re right!! This has been the most stressful time of my life lol
@Nanigoose Recently, I remember seeing @USAUSAUSA saying that they had an update on their transvaal (included their name and major). On decision day (5/16), they were admitted to Dyson. I know that Dyson and CALS use transeval. Keep in mind, that this could change by applicant, but fingers crossed. I wish you the best and hopefully this update means you’re admitted!
Aw, I hope you get admitted!!! Good luck
@mmmmmmmmmmop Me! What’s your major?
@yassgirl I’m CALS, Biology and Society. My advisor contacted their transfer coordinator because I had some schools that wanted a decision before this Tuesday, and Cornell said they’d send me my decision “soon.” Would it be possible that they would release a decision before decision day?
@Nanigoose In past years, I’ve heard of some decisions being released on Friday. I think it’s more likely and I would prepare for your decision to come out on Tuesday (5/23). I’m sure that on Monday, with the PIN trick, you’ll know if you have a decision for this Tuesday. I would keep in mind that admissions can be confusing; I’ve heard of people calling to get their decision, and some receive a letter in the mail. I’m no expert, but it appears that a decision has been made because of the transeval update .I’m thinking that Tuesday would be the latest day that you get your decision. Good luck!
