Accepted to Mechanical Engineering! It was through an e-mail, and I just got it an hour ago.
The email said that they will release official notification on Tuesday by 5pm EST, but my acceptance letter came with the email sent by one of the admissions faculty.
@Nanigoose for just engineering especially Mechanical Engineering. @somethingscript congratz!! What were you stats if you don’t mind sharing?
@MysteriousFredo Thank you!! I posted it in a Vanderbilt transfer decision forum, so a more complete picture of me be would be there. Briefly: 3.96 GPA in the honors department, some extra-curricular, but I was heavily involved in undergraduate research and engineering projects.
This wait is killing me! Anyone still alive for CAS?
Called CALS admissions. Looks like it’ll be at least another week until I get my decision. I must be really borderline, which I guess is an accomplishment in itself; to not be put in the auto-rejection pile.
@InfoSci They said that you wouldn’t get your decision this Tuesday?
@calidawg CAS applicant here, the wait is killing me too haha
I send an email to CALS, they told me I can expect to receive a decision next Tuesday.

@calidawg @marvin11 Same, I only take comfort in knowing that I wasn’t automatically rejected right away haha but I’m still really nervous and anxious. What are your majors? Mine is Chemistry
@colucho08 I guess it is good we made it past the first few weeks of what seemed like rejection. My major is philosophy.
