@drrich omg i am so sorry,I saw your posts about your stats and I thought you would get in for sure. I have no idea what happened this year with transfer admissions. maybe it’s because of my imposter syndrome, but I thought it would be “easier” to get into Cornell as a transfer.
I can’t and there’s some people here who I just don’t understand why they’re here. I’m so glad you have johns hopkins but i am so sorry. I wish you the best of luck

yea i’m really sorry everyone, cornell was really brutal with transfer admissions this year. i’m even more shocked by the amount of rejections in CALS and even CHE
Honestly I’m not sure because I only checked last night after reading through a couple pages of the thread to find out if it was only me who had not heard

Also ifyou applied to CALS, if your transeval updated, it is a high indicator that you’re accepted. if it doesn’t, 
there’s a high chance you may not get in.

Congrats to those accepted! Looks like this week was nice to CAS applicants. Hopefully next week is too.
this is also to future applicants! I would just like to note that Cornell’s state college really stress that you take the courses they want you to take. If you’re missing say intro stats for biometry and statistics or intro to python for Info science, core courses for this major, this can really hurt your application! they really want to make sure all your credits will transfer.

I am, @Chem&Theater. I was looking at previous year’s threads and realized that almost all of those, whose applications were left until the very end, were rejected.
