Cornell Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

I did not apply for FA

@kingslayer68 Nice! That might be a good sign judging off of last year’s thread. Are you a GT (Transfer Option) applicant?

@malwabyte Yes!!!

@kingslayer68 Maybe we might see a first wave of decisions next week after all. Hoping the best for you!

My FA checklist has also changed since yesterday the only thing left on it is the transfer transcript.

Anyone have any idea what the acceptance rates are by college for Cornell? Wondering about CAS in particular bc that’s where I’m applying, and I’m pretty sure when I took my college visit there they said they only accept a few applicants.

@ParZival12 I believe from previous years it is around 7% for CAS.

@malwabyte Thank you!!! & likewise!

Yay! My checklist is finally complete! :slight_smile:

I just spoke with someone from admissions in cas and they said they were trying to send all decisions by may 1 this year. We should all be hearing back pretty soon I guess.

@janice4527 that is so cool! Oh my! Fingers crossed for all of us!

@kingslayer68 what college did you apply through? I’m a TO and mine has not updated yet.

My transfer transcript item went from initiated to ordered!!

@kingslayer68 which Cornell college are you a TO for?

@onebfi that’s probably cause you submitted some supplemental documents after March 15, but I’m not sure

Does anyone checklist say your application was received a day after you actually submitted it? Concerned because my application says it was received on the 16th.

Hey guys! I’m a GT from ILR and my transfer transcript also went from “initiated” to “ordered”. Hopefully we all get our decisions soon the suspense is killing me

Where do you see the transfer transcript on the portal?

On my financial aid to-do list, it says I am missing my parent’s Fedral W2 form but the due date is March 2020. Does anyone else have this date listed? Also, my transcript has not been changed from initiated to ordered so is that a bad sign?

It’s on the financial aid to do list
