fin aid went from initiated to ordered! TO in SHA
Wow congrats @brianlau7 !
Mine’s still “Initiated” in Architecture, Art, and Planning school.
I tried the pin trick and I got an email saying I could reset the password, but after I reset it and tried logging in an error message displayed. So basically it only worked because I applied in HS? I’m a TO, Financial Aid transfer transcript still says initiated.
My financial aid portal also changed from initiated to ordered! Dyson TO here.
@onebfi Congratulations! How long did it take for yours to change from initiated to ordered?
I wanna be a TO! ?
one question, I applied for CoE computer science and in the engineering supplement I had to list my courses that matched up with Cornell’s. I had filled everything but one class that I listed PL(planned) in the summer. If I do get admitted and dont take the class in summer could they change my decision?
and normally, do applicants have all the recommended courses? because I dont have a class (data structures)
Have you taken Calculus 2, Multivariable Calculus, and Calculus-based Physics?
@OwlOfAthena Yes, I took:
Math: Calc 1,2,3(Multivariable, In Progress), Differential Equations(IP), Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics
Science: Calculus based Physics 1,2(IP), General Chemistry 1,2, General Biology 1
Computer Science: Programming in Python, Object Oriented Programming, Computer Systems and Organization
And art, music, history, economics, comunications, english 1,2 courses.
I just dont have the Data Structures and Functional Programming course and since I appied for Computer Science I think it is a huge negative factor because it is like a major course in computer science
but I did indicate that I will take this summer
Anyone else get “ordered”?
@mozartovich I got all of my financial aid documents in early March and my last application document was submitted around April 1st
Did any non-TOs get ordered yet?
I’m a non-TO and I’m still at “initiated.” Maybe it also depends on the school?
If I understood correctly, previous posters implied that having your transcript ordered = getting admitted.
It’s not surprising to see TOs getting admitted because there are very few things that admissions officers need to look at in TO applications: It’s almost a guaranteed admission.
I was curious if any of us, the lowly plebs without TO, had any luck so far.
Does anyone else have “inquiry access denied” when they login to the “view my financial aid” website?
Anyone with the TO who still has initiated??
I didn’t apply for financial aid–does the pin trick still work?
