Does anyone know if Cornell will do an early read if you can show you are in and have to respond to another school?

Do u guys have a financial aid portal? Idk why but somehow I don’t remember having one but they have emailed me before asking to upload materials but its just basically a link with an uploader and asking for basic info and not an actual portal

Could someone explain the “Pin Trick” more clearly, please?
- I looked up https://decision.applyyourself.com/fl_login.aspx?id=cornellu.
- I then clicked “Forgot your pin or password?”
- It took me to a tab that said “Forgot UserName/Password” with the description that said “If you have forgotten your PIN or password, please enter PIN or email address . . .”
- I entered my e-mail, and it stated “We were unable to locate your PIN . . .”
Did I do something wrong?

Hey guys! For anyone who’s pin trick worked, did your transfer transcript change from initiated to ordered? Or in general has anyone’s transcript changed from initiated to ordered today yet? CAS applicant here.
@mozartovich reminder that the pin trick doesnt work for ppl who applied to cornell b4. Whoever applied before will still get an email from last year’s pin. (I am an example) and this doesnt mean that the decision has been made. My HS transcript didn’t even arrive yet lol

I think I applied during high school, but I’m not 100% sure. I don’t actually remember. But if I did, that’s probably why the Pin Trick didn’t work (like @grundeis said).

@oceansquare Still initiated. My other two things are gone though. Just the transcript left. Are you a TO?
@oceansquare by “pin trick doesnt work” i meant that everyone will get the password reset email (as i did) if they have applied b4, so it’s not an indication of anyting. Also, isnt having ordered transcript a guarantee of acceptance?
@ZCLAVC Woah did Ian really say he hopes ILR decisions will be released by the end of this month? That seems really early and too good to be true…

@ndcuva - You bring up a good point about the fairness of a rolling admission style. I hope non-TO’s come out in May, but I guess we’ll see!
Yes Ian did say that. I was emailing with him this morning. He sent it around 8 am eastern time.
