Cornell Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

@TurboPlo I am not sure what the schedule is, but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long!

@cryingchemist The pin trick is just a way to see when your decision may be coming, normally there’s a formal email as well, but apparently they didn’t send one in advance this year.

So maybe it is a good thing, if you haven’t gotten a decision yet.

Thanks for the confirmation @kcasssuu and for the very pressing query for us non-TO’s without decisions @cryingchemist!

Yayyyyyyyy, FYI, I just received the acceptance letter to Dyson School of Business!!!

Some stats:

GPA: 4.0
Community college with 63 credits
Founder of clubs and member of many major related clubs.
VA resident

I hope everyone gets their decisions ASAP.

Accepted!! CALS (TO) Congrats to everyone and good luck to those who are still waiting

non TO rejected heartbroken

@AC1139 @TurboPlo I called the admissions and they told me that notifications will come out every Tuesday.

They also noted that each school has to review their own applicants.

Rejected non TO ILR

Are you a TO or regular applicant to Dyson @yayy12

@yayy12 Congrats! Did you get an email at 10:00 a.m. with a PIN and are you a TO?

Non-To CAS rejected

Did everyone getting a decision today receive an email with a PIN at 10:00 a.m.?

CS major transfer, rejected.
Not sure what TO means but I’m a regular, out of state transfer

‘TO’ simply means ‘Transfer Option’, which was given to applicants whom were not admitted as freshman applicants last year to Cornell, but given the option of admission this year- as entering sophomores- if they met certain GPA requirements in certain courses at a school of their choosing- community colleges included. It’s also called ‘Guaranteed Transfer’ since the only admission threshold is meeting the requirements set forth.

non TO, Chemical engineering, rejected.

Hurts but it’s okay! Berkeley will do

Accepted —Human Ec TO

dyson TO accepted!!

hmmm did all non-TO’s get rejected this round?

@fuzzycupcake17 no, there are a couple people on this thread (including me) that are non-TO and have yet to hear back.

Are the decision waves always on Tuesdays? Sorry for all the questions lol
