Cornell Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

@Coooooo I didn’t see anything such as sent to review, just saw the checklist and nothing else. In my financial aid portal I saw the status of my docs as “initiated”. That’s a clue I think.

@yayy12 thanks for response. I think I will just keep waiting for my decision although it’s killing me

@yayy12 Is this IRL or the Dyson Dyson that is super hard to get into with the lowest acceptance rate?

How do you even check your admissions decision?

Congrats @yayy12 ! When did you have the last required application material sent in? @yayy12

Is there anyone who’s TO for Human Ec who’s still waiting??

Wait so are the next round of results coming out tomorrow or next Tuesday?

@TenShe next Tuesday most likely

accepted TO cals … :))

non-TO Mechanical Engineering and I didn’t hear today

If one of the required documents was just checked off on my portal, when could I expect to hear back? Probably mid to late May?

@whereto2022 Depends on what school you applied to.

For example, ILR is a small school within Cornell University and they might review your application much quicker than CAS.

@whereto2022 the guy who got accepted to Dyson today still had no midterm report completed, so not necessarily.

Is there a difference between TO and GT?

@transferrrrrrcc no i am out of state and not a citizen so probability is 0 :frowning:

@belleD oh, that’s too bad. good luck with Cornell and your other schools!

Just spoke a transfer admission rep. There is no pattern (as in rejection of non-TOs on a particular day or acceptance of TOs on a particular day). Decisions will be released every Tuesday through the end of June.

Obviously they’re not gonna admit to patterns but it seems there’s a decent amount of evidence that points towards the existence of such patterns

I agree I dont think they will admit the patterns

@dabbmaster23 @chldusdn1998 what kind of patterns do you suspect?
