@grundeis its just that yesterday for the engineering school which I applied to, nobody got in yesterday and I think engineering applicants who hear back probably in mid may have a good chance of getting accepted.
@chldusdn1998 that’s what I was thinking about CAS, but then my new theory is that both engineering and CAS just accept SO few people that applicants couldve gotten acceptances, just that very small amount of people is not on this thread.
@grundeis I understand your other theory as well, there may be acceptances to people not in this thread. Im not saying I will be accepted because I have a really slim chance, but I submitted my application in early feburary and my checklist was completed fast. I see people who applied to the same school, major who have gotten results before me even if they applied later and their checklist was not finished. They might have not looked at my application yet but I heard they review as soon as the checklist is complete, and they probably had already seen my application.

How much do you guys think my ability to pay would affect my decision?
I can only afford 33-40k a year max :’(
I think Cornell came out with grad decisions today.
Was the personal statement and writing sample a requirement? Or was the transfer supplement the only requirement per say?
Personal statement and writing sample weren’t required. I say that you ought to send them in, though, especially if you’re a strong writer.
Thanks! Did you?
Yeah, I did. Sent in a long personal statement of seven pages or so since this is my second time transferring and I had a lot to explain. Also sent in an article I wrote for a local journal. What did you send in for your writing sample and personal statement?
Didn’t send in a personal statement. Kinda regretting it since I had a lot of material that I couldn’t fit in the transfer supplement. I had four paragraphs for my supplement. First para was an eye catching, yet relevant, explanation as to why Cornell. Second was about my major at dyson and my dropshipping business. Third explained reasons for transfer. And fourth was about future business ventures and what I hope to achieve using Cornell’s educational resources!
Hi Guys! I’m stuck My college doesn’t do Mid Term Grade Reports but Cornell can’t waive the Mid Term Report requirement. I talked to the admission center at my current institution and they said that they are willing to write me a statement to Cornell saying that they don’t do Mid Term Report. Cornell sent me an email this morning saying that if I don’t get all the requirements in by next Friday, they are going to withdraw my application. Can anyone please help me and tell me what should I do? Thank you.
Call Cornell’s admission office and explain the situation to them. They’re generally understanding there.
@Trojan4u1001 can you Just take the form to each professor individually? That’s what my daughter did.
@Aspiringacademic Yeah I emailed them today and hopefully, I’ll hear back from them tomorrow.
@Firstofmany Where do I get the form? Is this something that Cornell is supposed to give me if I don’t have a Mid Term Report?
