@collegedayz19 congrats on your acceptance and best of luck if you still waiting to hear from other universities.
Really hoping to get in, but I keep hearing the AEM transfer rate is like 2% ugh. I guess the majority of the non-TO decisions have been rejections so far, so still hoping for the best.
have there been any non-to acceptances besides the ones from SHA yet?
Daughter just got accepted by Columbia. She will turn down Cornell. Hope another waitlisted person will take her spot at CAS.
@collegebc I think it’s the same for School of Architecture, Art, and Planning (like mine).
called admissions today n they said my decision should come out Tuesday n I think im rejected cs my fin aid still says initiated
@ndcuva wait…they told you that you’ll get your decision next Tuesday? I didn’t know that they tell you when it’ll come out
maybe just a lot of people are getting decisions on tuesday and it seems like financial aid switches over on friday if it does switch over
@ndcuva Don’t lose hope! My daughters FA didn’t switch to “Ordered” until Monday afternoon and she was informed of her acceptance Tuesday. Also, I’m sure there are times that they don’t get the FA ordered prior to decisions coming out.
I have not turned in some of my financial aid materials. Do you think the transcript “ordered” switch would still come up on my financial aid status page or is that only if your financial aid materials are all done?
I am a non to philosophy major at CAS, how has the recent trend been with the acceptance letters?
Just FYI, for TO students, many (all?) acceptance letters went out prior to financial aid. Different process/office. I think our financial aid came a bunch of days after acceptance. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same for non TO applicants. In fact, we received a call to clarify something in our financial information after acceptance, before the aid package came out.
I just realized that under the “Upload Materials” dropdown menu, there’s a new option to upload “Waitlist Correspondence”. Do any of you have that as well? Does that mean I’m waitlisted?
@wkdalswjd well Ive been nagging them since last week if its possible if they can review my application since I have to make a decision soon for the other university I got accepted to. and the lady on the phone from CAS was nice about it and was like “call back a few days I might have something for u” after giving her my name. then I called back this morning and she asked for my name again and was like “well ive been hearing you’re gonna get your decision next wave” which was very casual lol but I have a feeling im not getting in since I turned in a lot of my materials REALLY late.
@mayijia66fly I have that as well but don’t remember if I had it a few weeks ago.
@transferstdnt99 It was certainly not there when I submitted my mid-term grades. Unless everybody else has it (which means they simply made a mistake), I guess we’re waitlisted, oh well…
@mayijia66fly I believe everyone has that in their drop down. I wouldn’t be concerned until you have received an official decision from the University.
is anyone here applying for communications within CALS?
has anybodies aid portal switch to ordered yet?
@mayijia66fly just called and they haven’t reviewed my file yet, meaning it’s not an indication of anything.
