Cornell Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

it’s really funny too because im a part of a facebook group, and someone said they got in without fulfilling the bio lab, bio lecture, or writing requirement. im heartbroken.

@BobSagets The only thing I can think of is that something was wrong with the paperwork and that would be a terrible reason to be rejected after you put so much effort into taking advantage of the offer they gave you.

Do you have a contact in the college you applied to that can provide answers?

@aqaqseattle What is the major that you applied for?

Yeah I don’t think so. I called many many times to ensure everything was in order. I submitted all my materials well before the due date.

just got in!!!

just got the email saying congratulations

Could you share if you were a TO or Non-TO applicant

Non-To, international student, engineering applicant

Congrats! Stats??

What major are u? Are u mechanical engineering?

Hi All, if anyone out there who is TO for human ecology and got TO again for next year, please PM me. Thank you so much!

is there anyone like a dean that people who had TO but got rejected can contact?

@BobSagets I’m sure the dean at your prospective school within the University would take your call or at least the department chair

sadly there is no dean for humec that I can call  and when i tried to see if shawn felton has a phone number… he didn’t

The College of Human Ecology has an entire administration that you could contact. Here is the link to the website. I don’t know who you would have been in contact before because my prospective school is Dyson but here you go… https://www.human.cornell.edu/about/administration

i just don’t know what to ask or tell them; i can’t really hold them accountable because they have been vague throughout this entire process. i don’t know if they can do anything about my decision now. i feel really played.

I truly don’t know any further details on the specific process but it never hurts to give someone a call

Whoops it saved my comment twice

@betaclimber you definitely should. I called them and they basically denied me over the phone lol better to know sooner than later

called cas, denied, non-to bio major saw it coming though
