Cornell Financial Aid

fellow cc’ers,

I applid to ILR and recieved an admit for spring sophmore year, however because of the specialized classes of ILR and the different core requirements I fear I may not graduate on time.
So my question is that how is the financial aid allocated is it by maximum semesters like in some schools, based on how many credits they take and I will then need to graduate on time, or is it by a cap

For those that needed to stay an extra semester to finish your degree, did you recieve aid?

Hey, I wasn’t accepted to Cornell as a junior applicant I researched ILR A LOT. I think that you’ll be fine with graduating on time as long as you attend college this fall somewhere and are taking classes that will transfer into Cornell. If you look at the requirements for ILR, I can’t remember but I think it was 40 credits in ILR are required and the rest can be from whichever college within Cornell as long as 120 credits total are completed I believe. I don’t know anything about their financial aid but I’m pretty sure you can graduate on time.
