<p>Hi, I’m a korean-american female and I attend a mid-sized boarding school in western mass.
I wish to pursue a career in international relations, particularly relations with Asia.
SAT: 2290
GPA unweighted (so far since freshman year): 3.91, Cumme Laude
Classes senior year

    -Officer of the Debate Society and Debate Team
    -Leader of MUN, won an award for best delegate at a UCONN conference, and am going to a conference in Prague in January
    -Internships in China (Law firm and Trading Company)
    -Study Abroad trip to China
  • 2nd in National Chinese Speech Contest
    -USA Delegate to international speech contest a month ago in China
    -Worked for my parents’ retail fashion business since I was 7
    -International Ambassador/Tour Guide at my school
    -oboe in the orchestra (First Oboe, First Chair)

    -Summer courses at Harvard for Business Chinese and Journalism

<p>I think you have a pretty solid chance.
You’r test scores and GPA are awesome and your ECs are also great.
I know someone who was accepted to Georgetown with a 2100 and a GPA of 3.7
But scores aren’t everything, your essays also count and even if you did everything perfect you also need luck, I think </p>

<p>Well, I’m not sure what your chances are, but I certainly hope that they are high because I have similar stats (same sat score, slightly lower gpa) and I applied to Cornell as well. You have better ec’s than me though (I don’t have enough leadership positions). Good luck!</p>
