<p>Yup - while a lot of kids do have macs, the Hotel School officially says that you should use a PC/Windows OS. They recommend that kids with macs run the Windows OS. If you haven’t bought a computer yet, buy a pc. If you already have a mac, don’t buy a new computer. You can always use the computers in the lab or just do your work on the mac and make sure it transfers okay to windows format.</p>
<p>I think many of the hotel school students do have macbooks, as does my daughter who is a hotelie. There are a couple of classes during the first year or two that require the use of a pc, but she just went to the computer lab for those assignments, so it was no big deal. And when she needed a new computer, she bought another macbook.</p>
