Cornell ILR V.S. Rice, Baker 13

I know there are a million of these posts but I’m stuck at a crossroads and idk which to choose so I was wondering if some current students could give me some pros and cons of both universities. Rice is giving me very generous financial aid, and I am still waiting for Cornell’s aid which hopefully will be a generous. I am hoping to go to law school, hopefully stanford or harvard. Which one of the two would give me the greater chance? (assuming I work hard and yada yada yada) Also, I need some clarification on what may be a great deciding factor for Rice. Do women participate in the Baker 13? I am in love with both universities and have been aceepted to both, please help me choose! First world problems right? Thanks.

I’ve done extensive reading on both and I’ve gathered that Cornell’s school of ILR prepares you for law school more than anything Rice has to offer. That being said, go to the place that fits you the best. Most of the time, the school that fits you the best will give you the best GPA which is needed for law school.

Anyone can (and many do) participate in Baker 13 at Rice. The Halloween run in particular always attracts many participants of both genders.
