Hey guys, just wondering, has anyone heard of a cornell alumni visiting an applicant’s home for an interview. I just read that interviews are supposed to be by volunteers at a very neutral site and I was wondering if this is at all common.

I have a friend who was interviewed; I received nothing about this.

I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet.
When’s the latest someone’ll get in touch w/ me? I applied to CAS, so I know interviews aren’t mandatory, jw.

none of you guys are answering OP’s question.

are you a girl or a guy? if you’re a guy, i doubt it matters. i am a guy and had my harvard interview at the person’s house at like 8pm at night.

i was not molested

^ hahaha.

don’t worry. it’s very common. I also had an interview at the interviewer’s home. Everything went well, and yes… I am a girl.

wait i just read his post again, so the interviewer wants to visit YOUR home?
that should be an advantage! you got home field dude!

I am a guy, but thanks Hansen, I guess it is kind of an advantage

The interviewer asked to meet at your house ?
That’s… weird.

just organize your living room/guest place a little, prepare some tea/coffee and i guess thats it…

make sure you take care of any crazy siblings (if you have them)!!
