So I applied to Cornell Regular Decision and did CAS as my first choice and Hotel as my second choice.
However, Cornell says that they REQUIRE interviews for all Hotel applicants, but I never got one.

Is it because I put it as my second choice? Or is it possible that I GOT IN to CAS and they didn’t let the Hotel school review my application since I’ve been admitted to CAS ??

Thanks once again, as im really confused right now!!!

You were supposed to have gone to the SHA website and requested an interview before you filed your app. The onus was on you to pursue the interview. Once you attempted to request the interview and indicated that you were applying to SHA as your second choice, the site would then have presented you with a few questions to answer in space provided. (This was how it functioned in the ED round, but it may have differed in the RD round.)

Hopefully you will be admitted to A&S and this won’t matter.

During the ED round, if you indicated that SHA was your second choice, a message popped up saying that you would not be offered an interview, and instead you should respond to the four or five questions in the space provided. So….assuming you replied to the prompts and wrote the SHA essay with your app, you have complied with their requirements.

Now, having said all of this, SHA is all about fit, so am not sure how likely an acceptance will be since you listed SHA as your second choice. Also, at this point, I am just speculating.
