I want to study International Studies (security, econ) and ultimately go into a similar field whether it be through the gov’t or private firms. However, I feel as if the Public Policy Analysis and Management (PAM) major is very much a psychological and healthcare focused major rather than economic and political strategy on a global scale. I am very familiar with the SFS (Georgetown) curriculum but I primarily want Cornell because of its location, atmosphere and student body (not like one of those close-minded, ivy-league seeking imbeciles). Keep in mind that JHU, the SFS and Cornell are in my reach category so anything more selective would be silly.

Human Ecos mission is:
The Colleges mission is to advance and improve the human experience by integrating academics, research and outreach in the areas of nutrition and health, design and technology, human development, and public policy. Human Ecologys multidisciplinary units provide a distinct research and learning environment; one that fosters collaboration across Cornells academic units, contributes to its disciplinary strengths in design, social and natural sciences and addresses the critical human challenges of the 21st century -

Does anyone have any more info on this? Would I be better off at a JHU International Studies Program or a Georgetown SFS? I know Cornell is all about fit so is their another major or school that is more globally and economically focused? Go Big Red!
