when you go to the note site one of the boxes tell you to fill out Local Address, is that the cornell address?

I second this question. Also, anyone know when the MPNs are “due?” The fin aid office closed early today…

generally, “permanent address”=home address, and “local address”= cornell address.

yes, your local address is your Cornell address… go to uportal, and under “student” click on “addresses”, it tells you that your home address is the permanent one, and the local is your Cornell address…

Thank you.

this is sort of off topic but does interest start after you graduate?

sarahhhh, I think the government pays interest until you graduate and your six-month grace period is over.

There’s no interest on the perk loan until after you graduate
right?

Technically there’s interest, but since the government pays it off until graduation and the six-month grace period, for our purposes, there is none.

oh just one stupid question… Perk Loan = Cornell Loan right? So Perk Loan is not provided by US Government or other loan companies? I have 0 knowledge on the types of loans in US…

mm from what I gather they’re separate loans. I’m pretty sure that the Perk loan is provided by the government and that the University loan is from Cornell. (You could sign the promissory note for either through the same site, idk why they’d be together but.)
