hey guys if I want to update Cornell on a recent Science Research award, do I use the admissions@cornell.edu email, or the form online, or the WESTCOASTPROSPECTS@cornell.edu??
Which way is the best way to notify them?
Thanks

Guys, here’s the latest thing i learned. On your chrome phone app, go to the tabs screen. Then, just keep flicking the tabs upwards, a few times and it will make a whole 360 flip. Really bizarre.
@Harvard2022maybe that just made my day lol
Let me try to help anyone who is nervous. I received a Diversity letter last week. I am a Hispanic female from a super popular state in admissions. Admittedly, I have great ECs and letters of rec, but I only got a 33 on my ACT and had an UW 3.5 GPA (3.8W if it matters). Clearly I am not the most competitive applicant, nor the most accomplished. It just means that maybe there was some other aspect of my application that was intriguing. SO— if you feel like your stats are out of this world or your application is wildly impressive, while I wouldn’t EXOECT an acceptance, just know that you haven’t been ruled out since you weren’t considered in the “most competitive” applicant pool. The Diversity and Likely lettered applicants certainly can be wildly conpetitive, but also may be regular, strong applicants who happened to exhibit a particular skill or attribute that Cornell NEEDS to add to their student body (say, a kid with a super unpopular major choice, unusual musical talent, or even just a kid who comes from an underrepresented state or minority of course). So, if you feel like you busted your butt to get great scores and a fabulous GPA, just because you haven’t heard back yet doesn’t mean ANYTHING. It just means that maybe you’re so awesome, you’re already like so many of their current students— which, in my opinion, is not a bad thing
Hey guys, quick question about diversity hosting: what is the deadline by which we have to register for it? Thanks.
@Porzinger after a quick glance at the letter, it looks like March 23 at 5pm
@lizzy1234 Don’t you have to go buy a prom dress or something? Take your snarky attitude back to the cheer squad.
@holdingouthope we’ve moved beyond this. And hey, don’t hate on cheerleaders! Lol
Guys, we are in the same class and might end up at the same school. We should show each other some respect. Especially since this a thread for an Ivy League school. These are some of best and brightest students in the country and beyond.
@holdingouthope Relax. It’s disgusting that you are publicly insulting someone for what they enjoy doing.
Watch @lizzy1234 and @holdingouthope become roommates and, later, the best of friends. #ThePowerOfBigRed
Guys, when is Ivy Day though? I’m confused whether it’s 28th or 30th March?
28th
Have they released likely letters for CAS yet?
We are in the Blackout period. They won’t be contacting applicants for any reason until the decisions come out.
@BobBuilder111 yes
I just got a snail mail envelope from Cornell (postmarked on the 15th). It contained a likely letter, saying I will be admitted and an invitation to the Diversity Hosting! I’m surprised because of the "blackout period"and that it wasn’t electronic.
@SuperGymnast_04 you didn’t recieve the electronic one?
@HERCULES_HERCULES no I didn’t. It was paper and I received it via snail mail.
@SuperGymnast_04 congrats!!
