I am transferring this next Semester (Class of 2022) I will be a sophomore, and I am struggling to make a decision between Cornell’s Hospitality School and Northwestern for Business. I am planning on going into Consulting so I was wondering which school would be a better fit.
I am planning on majoring in RTVF at Northwestern, minoring in Business Institutions and getting a Kellogg Certificate in Managerial Analytics, but I’ve heard that the math pre-requisites are pretty difficult and I do not consider myself proficient in math so I’m afraid of being overwhelmed. I’m also wondering how valuable the certificate program is in the consulting world because it isn’t a business major.
For Cornell, I like the Hospitality school, but I do not want to be limited to just the hospitality industry.
