Cornell School System??

I’m not very familiar with Cornell. Is like UPenn’s apply to one school basis? Like if you apply to wharton and get rejected, you can’t apply to CAS?

What’s the hardest school?

What you said pretty much describes it. If you apply to CALS and get rejected, you’re done. You can’t apply for CoE, or any other college. There is a primary/secondary application option, but as far as I know, not many people get admitted by their secondary college if rejected by their primary one.

As for the “hardest” school, I can’t really say. Some school have more notoriously “hard” majors than others (see CoE/A&S), but every major has some course that is difficult. It’s about finding which major would best suit your interests and apply for that one (or maybe go in undecided in the case of certain Cornell colleges).
