Cornell SHA Chances??? Please help...

Hi, I am currently a junior and I am considering on applying to SHA ED for the fall of 2018. I saw on the SHA website that the GPA and standardized test scores of the school are a little lower than other schools, but I’m still kind of nervous.

GPA: 3.57 UW, 3.83 W
SAT: 1350 out of 1600
SAT II: None
High School: Pretty competitive, one of the top high schools in NJ (only ranked below vocational schools)
Legacy: Just my sister who’s currently in the College of Engineering.
Planning on doing an interview.

Awards:
Won 2nd place in the NJMTA Composer Commission Competition for a Piano/Cello duo.
Pass ABRSM Grade 5 Practical Exam for Cello with Merit
Pass ABRSM Grade 3 and Grade 5 Theory Exam with Merit and Distinction, respectively.

Why do you want to go to Cornell’s SHA? What will make you stand out? You’re gonna have to make a very convincing case, as you will be competing against many other students who have had more experience in the hospitality industry.

Thank you for your advice! I will definitely take that into consideration. Can you please clarify what type of experience in the hospitality industry does other people have? But, are my grades considered as acceptable?

Here is the link for what they are looking for. Grades are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to admissions. And please take these requirements as more of a baseline for an average applicant, as they only enroll around 160 students a year; it will be very competitive.
