Cornell Summer Program?

<p>Hello,
I am applying in the next few days to the Cornell Summer Program for Business. Could someone brief me on what my chances are and what to expect? Thanks!</p>

<p>GPA: 3.35
SAT: 1750

  • Scholarship recipient for Political Involvement
  • Founded a Political Interest Group that has endorsed Presidential Candidate Ron Paul - 25,000 followers, Ranked in top 5 political interest groups that have endorsed him
  • Run 4 websites that receive decent amounts of traffic
  • Currently working on a large Social Media Project
  • President of Government and Politics Club at my School
  • Graduating with 9 Honors Courses, 5 AP, 3 IB
  • Member of Future Business Leaders of America</p>

<p>Mind you, this is the Summer Program and not actual undergraduate acceptance. Thanks again!</p>

<p>From what I gather, these summer programs are not nearly as selective as one might think. A lot of the times, if you have the money, you’re in. You have great ECs, but your GPA and SAT might be what seals your fate if it’s a competitive program. Good luck!</p>
