D22 is graduating this year and applying to a few graduate programs. Deciding between full-time job and pursuing a Master’s .

we’d love insight from people who have:

  • attended or graduated from Cornell Tech (especially CS/ML/DS),

  • considered this program vs industry jobs,

  • or compared it with longer master’s programs (e.g., 1.5–2 year MS programs).

Here is the Cornell outcomes board, if you haven’t seen it. It only goes through 24 (the last year has certainly caused job getting stress) but you can filter to a Masters degree and major of interest. Best of luck in the future pursuit. Hopefully someone will have experience in the program.

You can also ask the school to speak to a student ambassador. And if you can find some students, learn if they worked and went back or straight through. The school should have stats on that too.

LinkedIn will have a lot of current student info to in order to see past backgrounds.
