I'm a civil engineering transfer applicant to Cornell. Will I still get admitted despite lacking a fluid mechanics course? I got 1.0 marks (equivalent to an A+) in all my other classes.

Does it matter if my current degree program is different from that which I plan on taking up in Cornell?

Do some research to see if it’s still possible to fulfill all your graduation requirements if you transfer. Cornell will not admit you if you can’t graduate in a timely fashion.
Take classes over the summer if it is economically feasible and you need the credits/class.

Engineering is pretty tough to transfer into, so good luck.
