Cornell University and Standardized Testing

Cornell RD: Reach.

A 31 on the ACT is within the middle 50% range for Cornell. However, you left out your SAT IIs, which are required for Cornell admission. Even if you don’t get the 33 you’re looking for, you still have as good a chance as any other applicant. All standardized tests do is show who is capable of doing what work in which colleges. Someone with a 31 can handle ivies just fine.

Since you’re applying to CALS, I recommend taking your Biology and Chemistry SAT IIs ASAP if you haven’t already.
