HumEc doesn’t participate in Spring admission. I don’t know why this is taking them so long - the class’s either filled or not. Simple maths.
Does Eng have Spring admission? If yes that might explain the “iterative” nature of waitlist.
@hephaestion , I thought that Cornell expanded their spring admissions to all colleges this year or last year. Even so, there still may not be room at this point in time, but I thought that was the case. Tell me otherwise, please, if you know for certain they do not have spring admissions. Thanks.
@Winky1 I called HumEc Admissions two or three days ago and asked about Spring admission. The rep said no.
Thanks for that info. @Hephaestion . I agree with you, then, that this should be wrapped up or at least send out an email updating those waiting.

I was waitlisted into the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences majoring in Animal Science and I have not received any email or other kind of correspondence from the University, has anybody else? Also are there any steps I need to take to improve my chances? Thank you in advance!

Does Cornell offer FA to internationals on the waitlist if their FA budget persists?
@intlnavigator If you applied for FA with your original application, you will be offered should you get off the waitlist, regardless of nationality. However, Cornell is need-aware for international students.
So, CAS released nothing this week…do you guys think that the whole conspiracy theory of @boogiedad and @BigApple2018 that there is 100+ 2018 CAS admits pretty much fails now?
CAS 2018 has always been released by this late time, and this year they stated in the email that it’s closed, so probably it is, right? Any thoughts…?

I wish you all the best. But a little real world insight. Someone mentioned in their post they got in and only had average scores. I believe he said 1500 sat and 33 act. Average act this year was 22 nationwide. There’s nothing average about any of you. You’re all exceptional. Going to Cornell is great. Not going to Cornell can be great. Whereever you go be the best person and best student you can be. You’re entitled to feel whatever feeling you have at this time. But trust me this is not a defining moment in your life. Not even close.
