I feel like I am just waiting for a final email telling me no spots for me right now… Days go by and the chances just seem to be smaller and smaller. Still haven’t heard anything from them 
@jessicala you are not the only one feeling that way. Hopefully we will hear something one way or the other soon. Until then, I am going to embrace the school I committed to while still having a very small glimmer of hope that a WL spot will open up for me. Good luck to you.

For anyone still wondering about ENG waitlist. I got this email from Cornell today.
Dear “Name”,
Thank you for your note and your patience throughout this process. We did receive the letter and transcript you sent in April; please be assured it was added to your file. We have noted your continued interest in Cornell Engineering. Last week we made an initial round of offers of admission to waitlisted engineering candidates. This is an ongoing and iterative process that may continue for a few more weeks; unfortunately we don’t know when this process will wrap up definitively. All students on the waitlist will receive a decision letter once the process is finished.
