Hey @TheCorrector. I emailed them a while back after the first wave of eng offers came out. They said it was an “iterative process” and couldn’t offer a time frame for when we will hear definitively.

For those who may be interested, D received final notice of denial from CAAP (Architecture, Arts and Planning) a few days ago after being waitlisted in March.
Anyone heard more from CAS? (When I emailed them in early May, they said that I will get my “decision” - I assume that means accept or deny - by “mid-May”. It is now gonna be 21st May so lol mid-May is like done)

Hey friends! I’m a waitlist for CAS and when i emailed them on May 10th they said we would get our decisions (acceptances AND denials) “in a week or two” so the 17th of May marked one week from that response and the 24th will be week two, so hopefully we hear from them by then. Hello. I am really hoping to go to the Dyson School. Is there any news on this? Any updates? Just to be clear, I was waitlisted at the Dyson School at Cornell. I have already sent an LOCI in, which I confirmed that the school received, and asked my guidance counselor to call in to put in a word for me.
I called HUMEC again and a student answered, saying we will have our final decisions most possibly by the end of this week. She said, “they haven’t gone through all the information”.
Oh, please. Thanks for the info. @jessicala . What info. are they still trying to get through? I am getting more and more cynical, especially since my D just won another wonderful scholarly award/scholarship. 
These schools don’t know what they are missing that WL’d her!
I called the School of Engineering last week. They said that they have not yet filled all of their spots, wl not closed. Once all spots are filled all students on wl will receive an email.

So much misinformation here… admissions offices do not close for the summer. Summer is the busy season! Lots of visitors, prospective students, etc.
@Tulpen, nowadays it is called “fake news”. Too much of that here.
FWIW, looking at Class of 2021 Waitlist here on CC, the last notifications appear to have been made on June 24, 2017. Potentially, some of you may have to wait another month to wait.
@Sentnap - why do you say there is a lot of fake news here? I think people are sharing what they know or speculations they may have, even if some of those speculations are totally off (100 CAS WL spots, hmmm).
Most admission offices are very lightly staffed in Jun & Jul because it is the quietest time for them. Students usually like to visit when schools are in session.
Called admissions office today, for those of you waiting for CAS they said they hope to have my decision by next week, and they said I was towards the end of the apps… best of luck to you all!
