Cornell University Waitlist Class of 2029

I emailed the ILR admissions office and they said “we are still in a holding pattern regarding the waitlist” I’m not sure how to interpret that. Like have they not let anyone off?

Does anyone keep getting requests for financial information? Im still on the waitlist and continue to get these requests

Portal’s changed. Guess it’s the final decision time…

What did it change to? Checklist gone?

Good luck everyone. No matter what the result is, you’re all incredibly bright and will go far in your studies.

I don’t see any change to the portal; what does yours look like? My son’s waitlist email said decisions would be released on Thursdays, on a rolling basis (and the Cornell site says final decisions should happen no later than 7/1)…so it makes sense that today would be the final day.

Did you son ED? I think those that applied ED lost their checklist in December so we aren’t able to see portal changes.

Just received Cornell cas waitlist email they are closing the waitlist :victory_hand:■■■

transfer option? Nothing from ILR yet

I’m CAS and didn’t get the email

He was RD.

Nope no transfer option. They sent an email where they told me to go to the portal and there was a letter in the portal. It said they have a better sense of the waitlist and cannot offer me admission.

I think maybe only some people got it but idk. It was an email that said to look at the portal and the portal had a decision update letter where they told me that they have a better sense of waitlist and will not admit me. Maybe you still have a chance and it that case I wish you the best of luck

Nothing conclusive today from CALS yet, only the waitlist notification from March

Heart goes out to you bro. Thank you for the update.

Thank you for sharing with the group, and best wishes to you!

I’m CoE and I didn’t get the new update. My portal still looks the same.

yep can confirm

If the school doesn’t have mid-terms, ask the counselor to send a note explaining that, along with current grades or a progress report. Colleges just want an update. Good luck!

This false hope is starting to get to me…
