My son got waitlisted from Cornell. The univ needs the mid-term transcripts before considering getting him off the list. But his high school does not have mid-term exams or any mid-term thing… How do I submit such transcript?

Have your counselor respond to Cornell admissions.
It’s a WL so make sure you commit and love another school. Thru offered over 8k kids a WL spot last year. That’s more than they accept - just so you know what you are facing.

Does anyone know if people from previous years who got off the Cornell College of Engineering waitlist submitted a loci? On the Cornell College of Engineering waitlist page, they only recommend that we submit the mid-year report. Also, in regard to submitting additional information, how should we format it? Should it be a paragraph of what has been done since submitting the application? Thank you in advance.
Cornell admits 5824 students to class of 2029, which is much more than previous years. It seems that the waitlist to admit chance is very slim this year.

Wondering the same thing for Brooks school. Few days ago there are one person on a2c saying that their friend got off the waitlist (idk which school) but don’t know if that’s true or not
Hang in there everyone. May is a long month. Focus on finishing your senior year strong, spending quality time with friends, and loving the school that you’ve committed to.
If Cornell contacts you, that’s great. And if not, you’ll well wherever you land.

Separate person on Reddit is saying they know someone who got the CAS “confirm interest email” last saturday night. Has anybody else received the CAS email implying movement for the CAS waitlist?

I can’t post links but if you go to r/ApplyingToCollege and look up “Cornell waitlist” there’s a post made may 5th called “Cornell CAS waitlist email” where OP says “guy told me that sm got the email asking if they would enroll if taken off the waitlist for CAS… anyone else get this?”

My son was offered a spot from the Cornell waitlist yesterday around 5pm. We got an email for a seat at CALS and have been asked to respond by 5pm today. Stay hopeful and good luck everyone!
