Anyone get off ILR waitlist?
Is it possible that there is no or little waitlist movement at Cornell this year?

What was the wording? not in brooks, but COE so just curious
Basically, Cornell Brooks is assessing waitlist candidates for its DC Start program and asked you to confirm you’d enroll if admitted, though this doesn’t guarantee an offer.
The wording is similar to a Cornell CAS email from last yr which students who were admitted off the waitlist got. What’s skeptical about it, is it seems like every person on the brooks waitlist due to the multitude of people saying online they got it.
right, almost everyone on reddit says they got the email so even tho it seems exactly like the cas email it might not mean an acceptance
yh i think maybe they didnt waitlist many people idk though. what im certain about is whoever gets off the waitlist is prob doing their first sem in dc.
yes i would agree. since cornell does wl by school, I was looking in the class of 2029 insta pages and there are way more people who posted for cas, coe, cals, or ilr compared to brooks. i may be looking into it tho maybe the people who got into brooks just didn’t post

How would we know if Cornell will get to waitlist at all this year considering the large number of admits?
They already took quite a few people off the waitlist based on posts on reddit.
they have taken people from cals based on what we have heard so far

anyone off for brooks yet???
people on reddit reporting both brooks public policy and engineering today (5/8). both got an email to check portal around afternoon today. haven’t seen anything for cas yet

Nothing for CAS at all… Maybe they have nobody from the wait-list this year because they took so many (that would be dejecting)
