anybody hear anything from CAS yet? I saw a post from tineo on instagram about waitlist movement and someone in the comments asked “cornell cas” and tineo said “yes”. I haven’t seen anyone on cc or reddit or just asking around that has gotten off from CAS yet.

Is the waitlist usually this slow? When did most people get off last year?

I looked at past reddits for CAS and a lot of people got the “confirm interest” email and a corresponding acceptance in around late April or early may. Many got acceptances by mid may. I only saw one year in the past like 7 where there was a wave of CAS admits in June (letter in June and accepted June) but that was following an early may email wave which we have not seen this year

Did anyone get a letter confirming interest? My last correspondence was when I confirmed my spot on the waitlist. Not sure if it matters, but I applied to the ILR school.

No, I haven’t received anything. I only responded to the waitlist email on decision day.

So I called the admissions office and the rep said cornell releases waitlist decisions every Thursday at 2pm EST based on where they see fit. So would need to wait till next thurs for a desicion

no, not all schools started doing this, but if they did, they would do it every Thursday.

Been stalking cc and Reddit and so far COE, cals, and public policy have had waitlist movement

Do we think that CAS will accept anyone off the waitlist atp? I haven’t seen a single movement yet
