Just called admissions, they said that while they intended to make all waitlist decisions by July 1st, they’ll be keeping the waitlist open for certain applicants for 1-2 more weeks. Good luck!

Called the general admissions office… they are going into July due to the international stuff going on with students
I wonder if they sent out rejections to a lot on the waitlist and if we didn’t hear anything then we are on the small list.

I just got the same email.
So I just got an email from Cornell but I’m assuming it’s not the one that hints at you being accepted off the WL. It reads:
“Greetings from Cornell University! As you know, this is an unusual year in higher education, and as such, our waitlist will remain open throughout the summer. You may continue to submit updated materials for consideration through your Applicant Portal.
If you would like to leave the waitlist at this time, log in to your Applicant Portal and withdraw your application. Students who are offered admission from the waitlist have only 5 business days to commit to Cornell, so if you haven’t already applied for aid, we strongly recommend doing so now. This will ensure you receive a financial aid estimate quickly if you’re offered admission.
If you have any questions about the waitlist process, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help!

I’m guessing this is because of what’s going on with international/undocumented students right now? Do you think they will accept more people off the WL because they are anticipating some of those students to be unable to return to campus?

I got the same email to confirm interest. I assume they want us to confirm by uploading another letter to the portal.

My son also got the continued waitlist email for CAS. As some folks have noted here, in the last few days, they have been telling some students that they are not moving forward in the application process. They are def narrowing the list down so if you got the email, you are still in the running for consideration. It sounds like the only action they are requesting is that you opt out if you want to be removed from the waitlist. It does not sound like they are necessarily asking for another LOCI (but of course, you can continue to send updated materials). Good luck, everyone!
I just called admissions and they sent out 2 emails today - dismissal from waitlist and request to confirm interest. They expect to make final decisions within 2 weeks.

She said to upload my reply to their email confirming interest and any updates. I’m sending them a brief letter and one new update.

I know a Nolan applicant got a TO today, but wondering if ILR gives TO’s.
Has anyone gotten off or rejected from the COE waitlist as of today?

I actually both emailed my response/updates directly to admissions and uploaded them to the portal.
Initially, my child sinply replied to the email confirming interest. They responded that he should submit another LOCI to the portal. FYI.
Also, in your updated LOCI, include a summary of your achievements, especially the updated ones.
