Cornell vs. Brown vs. Dartmouth

How do they compare in terms of:
Workload
Nightlife
Dating
Food
Places to chill on campus
Student-to-student

And all of these ED boards are really stressing me out! (I’ll be applying next year.) So many great applicants got rejected at all of these schools :frowning: but which would be easiest to get into?

Cornell>dmouth>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>brown

realistically though, I know those may seem like big questions now, but next year in april, the decision may be make a whole lot easier for you.

For hockey, I think Cornell is a couple notches above Dartmouth.

Workload: Cornell>Dartmouth>Brown
Nightlife: All 3 have strong nightlife, but in different forms.
Dating: I don’t know about the rest, but for Dartmouth, hookups are more common.
Food: Cornell and Dartmouth supposed to be good, Brown not so good.

I’m not exactly sure how to compare in the other two categories.

Cornell: #10
Dartmouth: #18

Admittedly, Dartmouth has a very good team this year.

Places to chill on campus: This is an interesting one. I think that Cornell has flavors of both Dartmouth and Brown here. Like Dartmouth, it has a very active Greek scene, and tons of people ‘chill’ at the Greek houses. Like Brown/RISD, it also has a fair amount of artistically minded kids, so you also have Risley, Green Dragon, Temple of Zeus, Telluride, etc.

Off campus, there is a lot more to do in Providence and Ithaca than there is in Hanover. Hanover has a couple of nice ice cream parlors and restaurants, whereas Providence and Ithaca are more functioning cities with non-college people around, moreso for Providence than for Ithaca, obviously due to the size.

The one thing that Dartmouth does have going for it is its proximity to the mountains for hiking/backpacking/snowshoeing.
