Cornell vs Hopkins vs Macaulay at Hunter for premed

My last post got deleted, so I am reposting it if that is alright.

I am extremely grateful to have gotten into these schools, and I am currently deciding where to commit to.

I received a full ride from Cornell, and Macaulay at Hunter is tuition-free. I am currently waiting on Hopkins’s financial aid offer. I know that Cornell and Hopkins offer a more rigorous education and have stronger name recognition, but I am nervous that I won’t be able to succeed there. I’ve heard about grade deflation and cutthroat environments, and I’m worried that I might hurt my chances of getting into medical school compared to if I attended Hunter.

I would appreciate any advice

My free advice…you can succeed at any of these colleges. Given that medical school might be in your future…you should also think about how you will fund $100,000 a year or more if you get there (counting on getting into Hopkins med with no tuition should not be your guaranteed funding plan).

pick the college where you can see yourself being happy and doing well for the next four years. All of your choices are worthy. Pick the one that you feel best at.
