Cornell wait list... any help?

Hello,

I’m a high school graduate and I have been on Cornell’s wait list since May. I’ve already sent my continued interest letter, and have been calling them up every single day of the week asking them questions and for updates. Cornell is the school I really want to go to, and I don’t know if I’m doing enough to get out of the wait list.

My interests are in Electrical Engineering and Neuroscience, and I have an associate’s of science and 93 hours.

Can somebody help me or at least give me some advice on something that I could do?

It may seem like it’s too late, and I know Cornell is on their second round of offers, but if there’s something else left to do, it is better than doing nothing.

I suggest you keep updating them with new information that might make you be a stronger candidate. Something that you did or have worked on that you left out on the application. Just don’t keep nagging them because this might make them more irritated than curious.
Just have faith and be cool.

Good luck!

Ummmm… it’s almost July and what you’re suggesting is definitely nagging.

I do think that its kind of late. You can definitely try and you should since you sound very passionate about going to Cornell but the chances are slim. I don’t think calling them everyday was needed.

I would call them once or twice in the next two weeks and then if it works, thats great but if it doesn’t you have other options.
