<p>Has anyone here attended or applied to Cornell’s Mechanical/Aero Grad program?
On their website, it stated that applicants do not choose their adviser prior to enrolling. Does that mean it’s mainly an adcom viewing your application? If anyone is familiar with their admission process, please share some insight.
It seems every school is different, that is, some schools have the relevant faculty member view your app and that person has the most say whereas others just have the adcom dominating the process.</p>
