Trying to get a temperature of the room … Which do you think is “safer”? A 10-hour car drive or a 2.5-hour direct flight? From a Covid standpoint, not a crashing-on-the-highway standpoint.

I think the drive is safer if it’s your own car (not a rental) and if you’re driving with others in your “bubble,” and if you might be willing to pee on the side of the road instead of in a public bathroom.

Couldn’t this get you cited for indecent exposure?

Where I live no, but the actual answer depends, as with so many other things, on the jurisdiction.
