I was accepted on 28 Jan into Marshall (Business Admin) and till now I have not heard anything about a scholarship. This made me wonder if getting an early reply from USC equates to (or increases your chances of ) being shortlisted for a scholarship?

By the way I’m an international student so I’m not too sure whether I’m eligible, and if I do get chosen, how the interview would take place.

My s is an international student. He received his acceptance in late Jan last year and the scholarship invitation about a week later. He actually received an email about the scholarship before the letter. He interviewed for Trustee in the School of Cinematic Arts. It was a very casual interview where they try to get to know you. I don’t know if it’s the same in Marshall. Unfortunately, he did not receive the Trustee but the Dean, but he also received the International Dean’s scholarship so it added up to half tuition.

So to answer your question, yes, international students are eligible for the Trustee, Presidential and Dean’s scholarship.

On another thread, one student had talked to admission and was told that the students who are not invited to the Trustee or Presidential interviews are up for other merit based scholarships. So don’t give up hope.

for Explore, you spend one night with a host student, so that is covered but not for the extra nights that you might be staying, unless there is change this year. As for the other questions, I’ve sent you a private message.
