<p>Which schools are willing to increase their cost of attendance if someone were to receive a four year scholarship like Gates Millennium? I’m more interested in the top schools like Stanford and Harvard. I kinda want to know what will convince them to increase things like personal expenses and travel?</p>

<p>Also, when they give you a personal expenses budget, does that mean you receive that money as spending money when you arrive on campus?</p>

<p>I’m not sure any college will increase their personal expenses and travel (unless you are traveling from across the country). Don’t most colleges have amounts for personal expenses and travel? </p>

<p>Why do you think this should be increased if you get a Gates scholarship? I’m pretty confused.</p>
