<p>What is the question on the profile? If it asks for purchase price, you put what you paid for the car. If it asks for current value, you put the current value.</p>

<p>I would interpret “list cost” to mean the cost of the car to you when you purchased it – what you paid for it. If they wanted to know the current value of the car, they would have asked for that instead of using the word “cost.”</p>
<p>As for the date, if you know the actual date I’d try to enter it that way. If you don’t know the date, but can recall the month/year then submit that. The form will let you know if the way you entered it is a problem.</p>
